How Did You Decide On Your Business Name?
This is a great question. You see, everyone in my family has a nickname. Sometimes these nicknames are common, like calling my brother Robert Robby, and sometimes they are situational, like calling my brother Keith Cookie because he always had cookies smeared all over his face when he was little. My nickname is Fuzzy. It has always been Fuzzy.
The story goes that while my mom was pregnant with me, her first child (and most awesome if you ask my opinion), my dad would rub her belly specifically that little line of hair that some women get from their belly button down while saying “that’s my little Fuzzy”. It stuck. To this day everyone in my family calls me Fuzzy.
I wanted to use my nickname as part of the business. So, I came up with a list of different names. I hated them all. Then I thought of warm and fuzzy. Warm and fuzzy is a feeling. A good feeling. I liked the way it rolled off my tongue. I liked the feeling it invoked. Mr. Warm and Fuzzy would tell you that he is warm and I am Fuzzy. But honestly, it came from my childhood nickname and the feeling that you get while being taken care of and pampered. So, sit back, light a candle, and use the good soap, and you can feel all warm and fuzzy too.
